The Marquee Room is a spacious, heated marquee with direct access to the pub inside and an outdoor patio leading to the surrounding countryside. Inside, you’ll find rustic wooden benches, soft blankets, and cushions, creating a warm and inviting space that works all year round. Whether it’s a crisp winter evening by the fire or a summer night under the stars, this space is perfect for any occasion.
Exclusive Private Hire with No Hire Fee
Planning a birthday party, wedding reception, wake, christening, or a special gathering? The pub—including the Marquee Room—can now be exclusively yours. For groups of 35 or more purchasing a food package and using the pub bar, there’s no hire fee this year. This means you get the entire inside space (up to 100 people) plus access to our gorgeous outdoor areas, all set against the backdrop of rolling countryside.
Perfect for Groups & Travelling Gatherings
Are you part of a walking group, biking club, young farmers’ association, a touring group or something else looking for the perfect stopover? We’ve got you covered! You can even make a weekend of it—our adjacent field is available for camping, campervans, and motorhomes, and our car park can accommodate overnight stays. Need extra accommodation? We’ve partnered with local providers to arrange cosy stays nearby, and we can even shuttle your guests to and from their accommodation.
Food & Drink to Suit Your Gathering
From traditional buffets to grazing tables and even pop-up kitchens featuring guest chefs, we take pride in serving great food made with fresh, local ingredients. Popular options include our curry and chilli buffets, hearty grazing boards, and bespoke menus tailored to your event. And, of course, the bar will be fully stocked with Welsh ales, ciders, and carefully selected wines and spirits.
